With the ocean on one side and mountains on the other, this boardwalk made for a perfect path in which to do some pondering! This picture was taken in the evening as the sun was setting upon the Pacific Ocean along the central California coast.
A walk along Moonstone Beach near the little seaside town of Cambria—tucked in among the mountains of the Central California Coast—provided my husband and I with plenty of photo opportunities. Here is a picture of some seals resting amid the waves, which repeatedly crashed against the rocks. The way these animals seem so oblivious to the constant water spray reminded me of the verses in Psalms that I have attached to this picture.
It’s always fun meeting new people on the trail. These two ladies were the only other ones we saw the morning my husband and I hiked the Cold Springs Nature Trail. We took turns passing each other while pausing every so often to gaze upon the beauty of nature.
