Pine Flat Lake, near Sanger, California.
This ends my series on the Creation. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did!
I will be taking a break from blogging during the next three weeks, to make time for some writing and photography classes.
I look forward to seeing what adventures await in February.
This picture was taken in my backyard with light streaming through the magnolia tree.
Disclaimer: I do realize that trees had not yet been created when God said, “Let there be light:” However, I liked this picture and thought it captured the essence of light piercing through the darkness.
Today is January 1st, the first day of the month as well as the first day of the year 2015. I thought it would fun, throughout the month of January, to focus on the beginning of the Bible by posting verses from the Creation account, as recorded in Genesis chapter one. I will try and dig up some corresponding photos from paths I’ve explored over the years.
Here’s to a NEW YEAR with NEW PATHS to explore and NEW REASONS to give PRAISE to our Creator!
Photo taken from the top of Big Baldy Ridge in Sequoia National Park, California.
Disclaimer: Although I do realize that light had not yet been created when God made the heaven and the earth, I like the way this picture shows the separation of the sky from the earth.
